Is one outs really better than major? I took a glance at the manga, and the drawings kind of prevented me from watching it.

One Outs is a mix between Major(Just the baseball) and Death Note (Psychological manipulation).

Perverted? Hell no! >.<; There is nothing perverted in the series. I personally guarantee it. The drawings are meant for the more mature audience, who have outgrown your typical 'underdog wins all with determination' baseball anime. Like manga, they have a difference between drawing types. Not so sure but the drawing seem to be more Josei- like.

I never say it was better than Major. It is just better then its season 5. Or should I say it is just plain unlucky that Season 5 has to be released in the same timing as One Outs. When both animes' of the same genre are together, it is inevitable that they get compared to each other too.

But anyway, the first episode in itself is way more interesting then the manga, so you should definitely try that and see if you like the 'Hiruma'- or 'Niijima'-like character. And to be honest, you should watch the 2nd episode as well, as it then covers up the intro of One Outs.

Hah I see. I read it too fast. It should be prevented and not perverted lol.

But then just give One Outs a try. And no, Hiruma from Eyeshield21 sucks. I absolutely hated that machine gun freak. The main character resembles a little based on their hairstyle but the personality is a hell lot different.
