About me?

I thought that it might be a little rude for me not introducing myself to the colleagues here. I am 24 years of age, coming from Singapore. Current employment is none at all, although I have graduated last year. Still actively looking for one though. Currently, I am a beginner translator working on Area no Kishi. And I am looking forward working on new projects with the current hardworking and genius staff here.

I am not sure of what I have to introduce here so I will leave the interrogation to the members here. ^.^

cool you joined us. Translators are the most important thing in a scanlation group! You practically form a part of the core of the team.

hm, I'll throw in a couple of questions:

do you have any hobbies apart from scanlation stuff?

what's your favourite meal?

your hair colour^^?

1) Besides the usual routine stuffs of mangas and anime, I do a bit running for around three times a week. They are only slow jogs, whose purpose is to build up my stamina.

I do badminton too. But at a frequency of fortnightly. Other then all these, I do what other people do like mingling with friends (both online and offline) and catching up on the latest movie.

Pokemasters is the other board I frequent. Although in a much lesser extent these days. Friends are there but the board has since lost quite a lot activities compared to its hey days of the 2000s.

2) No preference for food. But there are several general rules that cooks must observe before they can serve me unknown dishes.

#Rule 1 - I will not consume anything that poses extreme hazardous threat to my health.

#Rule 2 - I do not consume anything that does not look appetizing.

#Rule 3 - I forbid myself to consume anything that is both sour and hot. *thinks of Thai delicacies*

3) Black. What else?

How's life there?

Life in Pokemasters or in Singapore?

Singapore of course.

Yups it alright. Same as any other cities. Education is tough and it breeds elitism. I survived all of that so I guess I am super cool heh? ^.^

Incidentally, I have move over to translate Overdrive too. So its good for the group as a whole.

sniff...sounds like you feel like being used :-(.

Everyone on our team's cool, no doubt about that. That doesn't depend on wheter you work fast or not. And Translators are the coolest people out there anyways^^.

It is an issue of what am I being used for. I don't hate being used as a manga translation. So nope, I am not being unhappy of it. ^.^ You just think too much, Mathi.

And yes, Translators are not just the coolest. They are the nicest around.

edit: Translators are the most valuable. I just hope my ass off you'll stick with us even though i'm sorta slowing things down....

Seriously it is not like I am packing up my bags and leaving for good. I would try and use this time to try out translating other genres. Maybe that will give me some valuable experience since I am just only recently joined the scanlation community a month ago. ^.^;
