Re: Ge4ce's hideout~
Here's the first part.
‘Elementals’
‘What an ordinary day, for the start of my first year on this College. And Elemental College out of all of them. Sun is shining and there is a breeze. Seeing all the first years gathering, makes me sick. But… Even if I should go back, I guess my parents wont let me in. Might as well go check out what class I’ll be going in,’ ponders Len on a bench, holding his cheek with both hands. He suddenly leans backwards and moans. “Why did they make me come here, wasn’t a normal college good enough?!”
Some group of giggling girls run pass him, and he suddenly sits straight. Letting his eyes unnoticeably follow the girls. ‘hmm, might not be bad after all,’ thinks Len while creating a wide smile on his face. Suddenly he gets smacked at the back of his head.
“What do you think you’re staring at?” shouts a girls voice.
“Ahhh,” shouts Len while placing his hands on his head, “What was that for?!”’
She sighs, “You’ll be late if you stay here. Argh, I hope to not see you wandering off again.”
“I hope none will be in your class, so violent,” mumbles Len while rubbing over his head.
“What did you say?!” she asks loudly.
Len waves both hands in front of the girl, “Nothing, nothing. You’ll be late if you stay here.”
She looks away and starts walking to the boards.
“Moron…” mumbles Len, “She didn’t have to hit me all of the sudden… tss”
‘Well, whatever. Might as well give it a try now that I’m here anyway,’ thinks Len to himself, ‘If it doesn’t suit me, I can still go to a friends place.’
Len starts pulling his wheeled upright along, ‘I wonder how large the school is, seeing all these first years, there might be a few hundred or so…’
He tries to look over the crows on to the boards, but can’t see a thing. It’s nearly half nine and the crowd slowly starts to go to their classroom. He can finally look at the board and he starts searching his number. ‘257…257… two... five… seven… Is it me or is the number not even on it?!’ thinks a confused and a bit shocked Len. Indeed number 257 wasn’t on the board, he did notice both number 256 and 258, but his number wasn’t on it. After a while, he was the only one still standing there at the board, wondering if his parents made a joke or not.
‘It’s not like them, but perhaps not surprising if they did,’ he says pondering to himself.
He sits on his wheeled upright and looks at the time, almost nine o’ clock.
‘Ahhh, and the bus wont be here for another hour, stupid bus times,’ sighs Len.
The bell, which has the sound of a church bell, rings. Len looks up to the clock and sees it pin pointing at nine o’ clock. He sighs another time, ‘Might as well head to the teachers room, see if a teacher knows anything.’
He walks towards the entrance. The doors are huge, but as soon as he tries to open them they are light weighted. He steps in a huge hall in length, height and depth. Astonished by the architecture he walks further, looking up. Not noticing a teacher that has appeared before him. Just before Len would bump in her, she shouts.
“WHAT’S THE MEANING OF THIS!?” right in front of him.
Out of shock, Len falls backwards against his luggage.
“AHHH, I… I am looking for someone who can tell me why I’m not listed on the board…” he replies out of shock and slight fear.
She leans forward over Len, giving him an odd expression, “What is your number?”
“Two..two-five-seven…” answers Len.
“hmm~,” while she keeps staring at Len, “two hundred fifty seven?”
“Ye…yes,” nods Len carefully.
“Follow me,” she says and immediately turns away from Len moving forward trough the big hall.
Len quickly gets on his feet, grabs his luggage and follows her.
“What’s your name boy?” she asks, while Len is still at some distance behind her.
Len heard the question barely and says at a higher tone, ‘Len, Len Draco.’
“Draco,” she replies again, “Latin for dragon…”
Again Len nearly didn’t hear her reaction, “That’s right.”
“Interesting,” she says whispering to herself.
Len didn’t hear what she said this time, and wonders if he should say something. She smiles and thinks, ‘So this is the boy you meant, director.’
“My name is Tira Hean, remember it,” she says at a serious tone while even facing back to Len.
“I will,” answers Len wondering what she’s up about and mumbles, “should have stayed home.”
“That wouldn’t have done you any good,” she says while waving one hand in the air.
‘Eh?! She has good ears,’ thinks Len.
“Nothing gets past my ears!” she shouts.
Len shrugs, “And a good sense towards people, it seems.”
They walked into a side hall following stairs on the left. Three floors up they walked further. There’s a lot of various decoration with statues, paintings and other objects or furniture. It all seemed old and expensive and Len notices that he hasn’t seen a student or anyone else.
“Where is everyone?” asks Len while looking around the rooms that they pass while walking.
“At first they all meet their class teacher. Introduction and information is passed and then the first years will be guided to their dorms,” she explains, “Normally no one is allowed to come here, with the exception of teachers or staff.”
They finally come at an end of a hall where there are double doors. She stands there and points at the doors. Len at first doesn’t want to.
“Go on,” she asks, “you can leave your luggage here,” and walks away.
He waits for Tira to be out of sight, and sighs. He lets his wheeled upright against the wall and knocks on the door. No reaction. He knocks again and immediately hears a female voice.
“Enter,” she says.
