I think it has effect on grays, keep it at 100%. Want anything to practice...hmm, maybe you should try the one at Mangahelpers.

practice your leveling skills^^. That's one, if not the most important task in tankoban scanlations.

I actually like the denoised/filtered image.

So tell me, Do i need to move the white black or grey? Did i make it too dark or light?

you don't filter!

you need to move the white and black "control". Don't touch the gray one^^.
you should always move the white control over the first peak on the left side and stop just before the "descent" ends. Do the same with the black "control", just on the other side. Got it?

the redrawings are good, nothing to change there, but you leveled too little. The blacks aren't totally black yet. So, don't redo the whole page, just level the background once again.

Congrats for the "one star upgrade^^", enjoy it as long as you aren't staff.

yeah, it sounded quite terryfying for me too when I first read sth about leveling. But trust me, after 10 pages or so, you'll have mastered it.

I do it in my spare time but right now i have GRE which i need to Study for D:
And Volunteer hours as well
But yea once i take the test i'll hve pleanty of free time again
