Well in trauma center 1, you play as Dr. Derek Stiles. You operate on people.

You get a cute German nurse early on in the game called Angie Thompson. xD

Your boss Robert Hoffman is a sour puss old man who refuses to operate anymore because of the tremendous responsibility.

Your superior is Dr. Kasal and I forgot what else happens to him. He's really gifted too.

You find out that you have the Healing Touch - a gift which only doctors believed to be descended from Asclepius - greek god of medicine - have. That's when Hoffman summons you and is like blah blah blah responsibility... guilt... et cetera.... Because he has the Healing Touch too. And presumably has some sort of horrible past surrounding it.

Yous ave a bunch of lives and get noticed by Caduceus a huge medical organisation dedicated to fighting illnesses. You ditch your hospital and join them... XD Shit happens... XD Medical terrorists unleash a strain of illnesses known as GUILT. Presumably (because I never actually got there because I suck), you eradicate them with the help of your Caduceus colleagues and cute nurse Angie. Oh, and Hoffman does something that I forgot. Somehow Hoffman and Kasal also end up in Caduceus and ditch your hospital too.

Some people die. You save lives of people including your university classmate's sister... and stuff. Eventually you save the world.

That's the gist of Trauma Center 1 XD

Trauma Center 2, set three years later.

Derek Stiles and Angie are in civil-war-torn part of Africa, helping kids and researching some new strain of disease. Adel Tulba, African trainee surgeon from the Razu tribe (which is fighting against the Dal tribe in the civil war... all the authorities are Dal tribes... OH DILEMMA..), joins their camp as a surgeon to help the camp... blah blah blah... (set in fictitious republic of.... something, but you are only there for like 1 chapter anyway (so far)) Stuff happens, Adel gets recommended to receive Caduceus training, you fight the post-GUILT disorder. That's all I am up to ^^

Yeah you fight against the clock with puzzles, accuracy and speed! Using the touch screen xD

Lol I hope bioterrorism of that extent never happens, ever.... XD

But having said that whenever I play Trauma Center 2 I'm like:

.....god damn it Derek!! You're supposed to be pro now! I want to help Adel become a master surgeon not you!

(guilty pleasure hearing his deep British voice + female appearance..)

Oh yes, the previous Director of Caduceus was Dr. Andersen. But yeah, he died from a strain of GUILT.

I feel really bad for not buying too Kouri >_< I finished the game (but not the X-files). Operating on the lock was hard D:< because my DS (well my former DS since the fuse blew and I haven't fixed it yet) had messed up calibration. I had to do it on the computer.

The video is really laggy :O Wow.. I would have had screamed if the lag made my strokes misread by the comp or something XD

But then again the decalibration is frustrating too. The one thing I hated about the lock thing (and the last operation...) was the whole 'one mistake and it's OVARRRRR' thing. I was like "Wha i can't fix it with morphine??!" (that green health restorant thing that I have classified as a superdrug >.>)

Lol yeah, my computer has a really bad processor and an old video card. You get used to the lag /shrug before I got my DS, I sometimes used the emulator to play Osu!

Yeah I know right? It pissed me off D: But surprisingly, the last operation didn't take me as much retries as the lock >_>

The msot I've ever used my emulator to play was Phoenix Wright and a lil bit of Valkyrie Profile XD

and LOL
I know right? The last operation was kind of easy in a way, except the last bit Sad I worked so hard fo rlike 8 minutes and then i make a mistake at the last part with the scalpel! My cousin was laughing at me Sad

But wha tI liked about the last op is that all the GUILTs were depowered. Bythos wasn't as annoying Very Happy Sige was a cinch although i really liked Sige the first time around too XD

My favourite operations are the normal ones though, without GUILT. @_@ I like extracting and suturing and disinfecting XD

Lol, I used to use emulator to play a lot of games because I was too broke too afford the system.

Indeed xD The only problem I had was that last part, it was so annoying because of my fucked up calibration x_X

I liked Sige too xD

Too bad GUILT was the whole part of the storyline >_>

Yep >_>

I KNOW RIGHT? D:

Lol I used to fuck up the skin grafts because my DS always thought I placed the skin grafts in the wrong place so it got annoying, but they were better than GUILT.

I have an R4 too! xD I lent it to my boyfriend since my DS is broken >_>

OMG, I HATED THE SKIN GRAFTS TOO

they always broke my streaks Sad And Angie would be like BE CAREFUL!!! And then, I would have had to extract the skin grafts all over again Sad
The 8 minute burns operation was something I hated too.

hehe i'm so glad mine is still working XD inflation due to the whole illegalising of them and all has made the equivalents so expensive Sad My friend's one broke a few months ago Sad TOUCH WOOD!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy

I think it depends on the website from where you buy it from, as well as if it supports SDHC or not.

She was really pretty, it's just that her herself...>_>

It's like a different type of Micro SD. I don't remember how much different it was but there was some difference that was significant enough for the makers of the R4 to make another R4 I guess >_>

Yeah I'm glad we could fast forward, because the time I actually finished the game was my 3rd attempt at trying to run through the game. The first time I played it was on my friend's DS about a year ago, I got to 3-3 and then got stuck. Then the second time I tried to play on my computer with the emulator but it was too hard >_> Third time was the charm I guess xD
