welcome. I remember seeing you back at our old forums!

Newbie here. I'm not really new to the manga department. I just felt that this board had a nice feeling to it and I just had to register. No seriously, I wanted to join your discussion about AnK, OD and such.

There's really no need to tell anything about me. Just imagine some generic lazy anime fanboy not doing anything... Actually, that's wrong. Seeing I like sport manga I oviously must be into sport right? That's probably not true for all. But it is for me. Prince of Tennis made me start play tennis 2 years ago or so. Eyeshield 21 made me realize that there's more to American fotball than violence and cheerleaders. Slamdunk got me interested in basketball, just a little. Overdrive makes me realize there more to the bike... maybe... and the list goes on! I don't like soccer though.

OMG YOU READ SLAM DUNK?!?!?! It is SO epic. D: Have you read REAL? ^^ (one of our projects) But omg. Slam dunk. I'm sort of tempted to pimp my fic out to you right now because the fanfiction part of the fandom is. DYING.

And the only reason I started to translate anK was because I was like "Hmmm. I really love this manga. If only there was someone I could talk to about it!" i'm glad that more people are coming so we can talk ^^

Besides Slam Dunk, POT was my very 1st sports anime... it was very pleasant & hilarious ^_^ I actually thought all those moves in POT were made up stuff... until i watched some real life tennis matches & especially slow-motion clips of Federer & nadal's strokes ^_^ Cool!

No kidding, I felt that slamdunk was one of the best mangas I ever read at the time I read it. So hilarious, yet epic. And the art was better than anything I seen.

Well yeah. I enjoy the story quite a bit. I hope there much more chapters to come.

My first too, and it will always be my favorite. Haha, I enjoy trying to do PoT moves while playing tennis. Makes you cry there's this little thing called reality.

i never attempt to play tennis now ... coz my badminton skills will unintentionally take over my body & 'pheeww'... the tennis ball will fly out of court in no time... hahaha... so yeah... reality to me is... playing little tennis while spending lots of time searching everywhere for the balls....

lol I can't play badminton. I mean, i've playedi t. But I can only do overhead xP can't do underhand AT ALL.

@Fleia about slam dunk art: I KNOW. It starts off sorta meh... and the shorts are short <____< but in the later volumes it's the best I've ever seen.~ About AnK, don't worry there are 12 volumes out currently ^_^
