Area no kishi licensed ???

I am Chret18, a member of Gikei no Scantrad, the french scanlation team for Area no Kishi^^

I have noticed, on the MangaHelpers website, this advertise about Area no Kishi :

Uploaded releases are disabled for this Manga due to (current) licensing issues. MangaHelpers administration are aware of this and are following up on the issue with relevant parties.

DO you know about that ?
Have you an URL to a web article which explain if Area no Kishi will be licensed, where and whom?

All releases at MangaHelpers, in 'scanlation' and 'Raw' sections have been deleted...

It's not licensed. It's one of those grey areas manga. XD

Unfortunately, it's not licensed in Europe or the USA.

So this is the licensing in other countries then, like say, Taiwan/HK?

I'm aware of that it is Lincensed in China. Not aware of any other countries.
There is a Kodansha America established in New York.

No idea really of other stuff about Kodansha...

Er. Area no Kishi is licensed in Taiwan and HK by Tong Li Publishing XD;;;;

I believe it may also be licensed in other Asian countries, like Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, bla bla bla. (I couldn't find it in Singapore though.... MEH)

I saw your awesome thread, but it wouldn't load for some reason... but then my connection sucks for some reason. Yeah, I can't find it here in Singapore, ANK, although we can get TongLi comics here at Comics Connection and Kinokuniya at exorbitant prices... Heck, you can ger ANYTHING related to comics from Kino. I bet they even sell Jump there. Frankly, I think ChuangYi (the local and only comics publishing company here) is way too disappointing.

You can get ANK raws in Kinokuniya =)
I almost got ANK 16 raw when I was in SG, but,but.... BUT.... I only had $2 ;_; FAIL WHEN YOU'RE IN ORCHARD I KNOW

As expected. You can get anything from Kinokuniya that's been printed in the past year.

It's Orchard. You can't breathe the air there without a nagging feeling that you've been ripped off somehow.

Wanton at 2 bucks? Seriously? Cheapest I've seen outside of a secondary/primary school canteen is 2.50.

It works on explorer, or at least I can see the messages I type on explorer.

XD Well I forgot the cents. I usually do that... the small size is $2.40 or something like that, but the takeaway charge was +20cents, so it ended up being over $2.50 anyway XD
