I know what you mean, but the chapter page numbers are going to be pretty consistent from now on. But hey, at least it means less time between releases.

that's true, is it gonna be like 17-20 pages per chap now? or shorter?

The first 3 or so chapters for most series always larger. They usually seem to go from around 70 > 50ish > 40 > then get normal sized at around 18-20. 18-20 is standard for a manga on weekly release, which i assume this is.

Good chapter again; Even though we pretty much knew what was gonna happen it was still well done.

I don't get how someone can get pierced through the chest (and the heart) and not die immediately lol. It would be a nice twist, if the older brother randomly possesses the younger brothers body during key times to score goals or something lol.

Before the whole death/heart transplant thing i was also thought somehow he would get his brothers left leg too lol. When you think about it on these terms, it seems almost grotesque..... or maybe thats just me

edit: Btw, if you can't tell by now, i love to make predictions, ranging from simple to batshit crazy. I usually judge a manga based on how predictable it is (too easily predictable = badddd). Of course art and story matter too.

I don't think that that'll happen. My guess is that he'll become schizophrenic. He'll recreate his brother in his mind. This will not only ease his suffering and but also help to overcome his weaknesses.

haha hate to break it to you, but this is a sports shounen series... schizophrenics won't appear in it.

It doesn't have to be hallucination. Although it hasn't been proven scientifically proven, there's been all lot of cases where the tastes, memories, and reactions and other things have been attained after getting a new hearts or other organs. They often correspond with the donors too. It's not too far fetched to have Kakeru get flashback's or a big raise of confidence after getting his brothers heart...

Cheers. T'was a good chapter, couldn't help but laugh in the previous chapter when ou could see the rod through his chest. We all knew this was coming though because it has been building up for this to happen since the manga started.

Thanks for the chapter. While a lot of it was expected I admit the heart transplant took me by surprise. Looking forward to see how the series goes once he recovers.

Yeh with all the last this, last that kind of stuff, it seemed like it was building up for an accident to happen and with what that other international player said in one of the chapters as well. Really looking forward to more of the manga now because it will really get going ^_^. An introduction of another female character in the next chapter, sounds interesting, wonder what she will add to the manga.

I agree, it was foreshadowed, but in a good way. It wasn't obvious that the older brother was gonna die (but it was obvious that he wasn't going to be able to play soccer again for whatever reason). That level of unpredictability is good enough for me .
