Yeah, since I've watched OD anime I was courious what have happend after the race. Then I learned that there's an OD manga but it's not too popular ;( I thought there's no more translations, but luckily you guys keep working on that ;D

well, the manga is ought to become more popular when we reach the part after the anime's ended.

I can't really agree on that. History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Hajime no Ippo, Eyeshield 21, Air Gear and Prince of Tennis, and the upcoming Histroy's Strongest Disciple are rather popular manga's. Also Captain Tsubasa, Bowling King, Slam Dunk, Rookies, Whistle and the New Prince of Tennis are very known title's as well.

Hmm I guess you're right. But sometimes (especially on polish sites ) you can find comments like: "Oh, it was quite good, even though that's sport series", so I have a feeling that some otakus look down on this type of manga. But again those titles are really popular too so I think I have to change my opinion

goddamn, i get so frustrated when my friends are all like Oh, I don't like Sports Manga. I'm like Why? They're like i'm NOt Into Sports.

and then i go into a huge diatribe about how you don't have to like the sport to like the manga, blah blah blah, i mean i was neutral about baseball until I read the beautiful thing that is Rookies. ARGHGOGAG D:

i mean like... if you like adventure manga... it doesn't mean you like going on adventures.... right?! you don't have to like doing sport to like sports manga!
