I'm Here Today!

I'm thinking about this morning. This morning I found a Jerusalem cricket on the floor in my bedroom. It was about an inch and a half long (~4 cm), not including its waving antenna, and was stuck on its back. It's legs, attached like a frog's, were jerking & it was weekly rocking sideways, back and forth. I think it was dying. Why? I don't know, but starting off my day by witnessing a Jersulame cricket in its death throws on my bedroom floor is NOT pleasant.

Jersualem crickets are hideous. Absolutely hideous, gross, disgusting, etc... they give me the willies. I do NOT want to touch one. Ugh. I don't think I could. Not on purpose, anyway. I give them a wide berth when I see them outside. How did it get inside? And why was it in my bedroom? Are there any more hanging around... will I step on one if I get up in the middle of the night... with my bare feet? I think I'd have a heart attack if I did. I wouldn't be able to sleep a wink afterward... will I tonight? Maybe not, now that I'm thinking of the possibility that Jerusalem crickets may be lurking under my bed, waiting to move out in the dark & be stepped on or bite my ankles or ...
ugh.

I had a weird dream this morning... I dreamed that zilch commented on my QC for ANK 54 XD
It was sooooooo weird.

Actually, now that I think about it, I am supposed to look at your QC for ANK 54 and forgot. Crap!

I dream in a sort of movie/book style. Like... the dreams are sometimes narrated. It's all very weirdly epic. XD

Just got back from a tiring day out. Had lunch with friends and a couple of boyfriends, then went to another friend's baptism with the same friends. It was... tiring. Then starbucks for 2 hours. Tiring...

I dream how I read. There are no visuals & no audials (very rarely will I hear something - when I do it usually wakes me up so I never know if I dreamed the sound or actually heard it), but I know what's going on, I understand conversations & there's spacial understanding. For example, if there's a room with furniture in it, I know where the furniture is & where it is, but I couldn't describe it to anyone... either in my dream or when I read.

I think the two are connected: how you read & how you dream are similar. Cool, eh?

Just finished a couple of hours memorizing Kanji. I've go 126 memorized! I can write them too. The book "Remembering the Kanji 1" really works. It's a bit addicting. Like puzzles or Spider Solitaire or Mine Sweeper or Jewels or Tetrus... I could spend hours doing it.

I'm off to get some lunch.

A hummingbird dropped by my patio to hang out with my lavender. I watched the little buggar for awhile. It was lovely.

well i'm in london now so it's now in gmt +0!!! well. except daylight savings time is in effect and i finally have to observe it... what daylight savings, oh wait omg it's still bright and it's 7. daylight saving indeed. i thought it would be DARK. yep yep moved into student hall today and food sucks but eh lol.

Congrats on the move! How exciting. I've been to London once. I didn't stay long b/c it was a pitstop on a way to somewhere else, but I've always had a fascination with Great Britain.
