the heat is driving me nuts T^T;

didn't bother going on the computer.
im on the laptop right now, too.

right now im on a writer's streak so.. uh.. yeh. ill do what i have to do when i get back on my computer and after i finish >__<; .. at least 6 stories straight.

my dad's going to pick my mom up at the hospital (no, my mom is not the one who's hurt.. it's my grandma..) and he was like "turn left, turn left, turn left your head. im not even driving yet." to the gps as he walked into the bathroom xDD just had to say it here. this will bring back memories :3

and. im staying up a bit late, hm?
well. i had to find the directions and all after all. im reading a fanfic to pass time too.. and well. my dad comes home late every day anyway.

.. after i finish reading, ill go to sleep. i promise.

I went to the Siam and Burma art exhibit at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco today. The art was amazing - so intricate and detailed. There were a lot of Buddhas, paintings depicting the life of Buddha or the adventures of Rama, carved wood, cut glass and gems adorning the art pieces, puppets, and gold gilding. I don't know much about Buddhism and have never read the Ramayana, so much of the content was unknown to me, but the craftmanship was amazing! I'm glad I went. After three hours, I was overwhelmed and wiped out. I'm ready to go to bed.

It's raining, raining, raining. There's a seasonal mini-lake across the road from where I work and its water level is really high. It's supposed to storm tonight too. Before I left work, I debated whether or not to move my PCs from the floor up onto the desk in case it floods...but opted just to turn everything off. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. If I can even get to work with flooded roads.

The frogs are vociferous. I have to admit...I do like the rain.

It's a damp day. It's been raining and chilly, so even though the temp isn't too cold, the chill seeps into the bones. I'm sitting at my computer, with a candle lit, the hood of my sweatshirt pulled over my head, and my favorite fuzzy socks on. They (the fuzzy socks) are valiantly attempting to keep my feet warm.

But, to quote Eponine on Les Miserables sountrack, "the rain will help the flowers grow".
