Re: Sports Manga and Anime List
I find it hard to believe that we have run out of sports manga, but thank you everyone for your contributions thus far.
I'm personally looking forward to checking out Golden Age and Goalden Age this weekend. Thanks for the suggestion kid-kun

Diving: Suzuka.

OOh Thank you for keeping the thread alive.
And no Captain Tsubasa will nvever die!!! lol it was my first football/soccer manga and anime. I think it's on its 4th title??? Not sure about that. It's just sad that the rest of the anime has yet to be translated to English. I have run acorss an Italian and French version of it.

Re: Sports Manga and Anime List
Just two which popped in my mind while reading through your list:
baseball:
- Diamond no Ace
- last inning, great series, but only one chapter's been scanlated :-( --> http://mangahelpers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26339&highlight=last+inning
badminton:
- smash
- yamato no hane
both are being scanlated by bado-scans
racing:
- capeta
more are to come^^
edit: just noticed sth, isn't Suzuka about track (running...)?

Re: Sports Manga and Anime List
btw, Suzuka's definitely not about swimming!
From Del Rey:
Yamato is ready for a fresh start. So when his aunt invites him to stay rent-free in her big-city boarding house in hustling, bustling Tokyo, Yamato jumps at the chance. There’s just one teensy-weensy catch: It’s an all-girl housing complex and spa! Things get even more nerve-racking when Yamato meets his neighbor Suzuka, a beautiful track-and-field star. She’s not just the cutest girl Yamato’s ever met, she’s also the coolest, the smartest, and the most intimidating. Can an ordinary guy like Yamato ever hope to win over a girl like Suzuka?
Re: Sports Manga and Anime List
I guess you can add akagi and kaiji as sports anime in the misc section. One's about mahjong and the other's about some kind of wierd rock-paper-siccors gambit game.
